As a student athlete, you have a lot on your plate. Classes, practice, study hall, film study.

Wanting to keep my finances in order was something I never though about, because it wasn't a priority for me.

Therefore, every cost of attendance check, pell grant or stipend flowed in and right out of my account and I had NO CLUE where that bread went.

As an athlete, tracking your performance is crucial to improving and becoming the best at your craft and your sport. Your coaches track your numbers in the weight room, your production on the court, your missed assignments on the field.

By tracking your spending, you'll have the power to make informed decisions about your money and take control of your finance

Here is my favorite and three of the best budgeting apps for student athletes:

This app is my favorite because when you sync your bank account, its automation with tell you when your recurring bills are due each month. It also provides a tool to cancel any unwanted subscriptions you may have forgot about. With Rocket Money, you'll be able to see where your money is going, stay on top of your expenses, and reach your financial goals with ease.

Mint is one of the most popular budgeting apps and for good reason. It provides a comprehensive view of your finances, including your income, expenses, and investments. If you sync all your accounts into Mint, it will also tell you your total net worth, which is a great tool to help understand where you are financially with your assets and liabilities.

f you're looking for a budgeting app that's simple, straightforward, and designed specifically for the Dave Ramsey budgeting method, then Every Dollar is the app for you. This is a zero-based budget app that highly suggest you have a plan for each and every dollar that comes into your account. Which means that your checking account is never going to be left with much money, but each dollar has a specific role in what it is used for like emergencies, future goals, etc. It allows you to track your spending, create a budget, and stay on top of your finances with ease. With its engaging interface, budgeting has never been more fun and easy.

Pocket Guard is a budgeting app that helps you keep track of your spending, create a budget, and manage your finances. One of its biggest advantages is its user-friendly interface, which makes budgeting a breeze. Additionally, Pocket Guard provides you with a complete view of your finances, including your income, expenses, and investments, so you can make informed decisions about your money.

Personally, I love these budgeting apps because they make it easy, simple, and quick to track all my expenses.
